Sun, beach and … beach volleyball: all the ingredients for an awesome summer!
Completely done with all those sweaty hours in the gym or don’t feel like jogging on your own anymore? Don’t look any further!! All you need to play beach volleyball is sand, a net and a ball and fortunately, we’ve already arranged all of that for you this summer at the ACLO… So take your sunglasses and bikini and get ready for some action!
Beach volleyball is played in teams of two. There is no such thing as a fixed position, so you will learn all facets of the game. In most cases you play with and against the same sex, but there are also tournaments for mixed teams you can join. At Tweeslag, we train in groups of ± 8 persons, so you won’t have to worry about finding a team mate to compete in our tournaments. This summer, there will be training sessions every evening from Monday – Friday. Tweeslag has an elite group whose members play at national division tournaments across the whole country, but whether you wish to play at the highest level or just have fun with your team players during practice, you’re more than welcome to join us!
Besides our monthly tournaments, we organize many activities like a Running Diner, a pub quiz and drinks at ‘de Kachel’. Moreover, we go to Ameland every year to join the biggest beach event of Europe!
