It was hard to miss because of the press attention, but the ACLO has opened a temporary padelcourt in honor of the 70th anniversary!
This sport deserves a little more attention, because it’s relatively new in the Netherlands!
Padel is a combination between tennis and squash and this is played on a tennis court with glass walls. It is one of the fastest growing racketsports in the world, which is easy to learn. Padel is played with four persons. At the ACLO you can rent the court for only €5,- an hour. Besides this you will need to rent a racket (€1,- per racket) and a ball (€1,- per ball).
