Becoming ‘zen’, full focus and control, calm breath and stretching your whole body. Pilates is the sport of the week and will be put in the spotlight. An hour of pilates exists of exercises for stability and posture where breathing plays an important role. Control is the keyword for pilates. It is all about coordination and stabilization of the pelvis, spine and shoulder girdle. An important component within pilates is concentration, the connection between body and spirit.
