G.S.W.V. Tandje Hoger
The Groningse Studenten Wieler Vereniging (Gronings’ Students Cycling Association) Tandje Hoger has been founded on the 17th of January 1977. With approximately 300 members, many donors and nine honorary members, we are one of the largest student cycling associations in the Netherlands. Tandje Hoger cyclists are fanatical racers, but also recreational cyclists who like to tour a bit. In short, there is something for everyone! We train, tour and regularly travel to Limburg, Germany and Spain to create beautiful memories while cycling together. We also organize a monthly tour with coffee and apple pie at the expense of the association. Besides cycling, every two weeks we have a get-together where you can catch up with your fellow cyclists and there are often fun activities organized.
Enthusiastic? In September and May we have an introduction period. During this period, beginning (and also more experienced) cyclists can learn the basics of cycling, riding in a group and get to know the club.
