Enrollment for course period 2B has opened!

All courses offered this period will be online, as the current corona measures unfortunately don’t allow for any physical sports activities. Go to MyACLO -> Enrollments to see all the courses on offer! Below you can find an overview of all the offered courses. During the enrollment period more courses could be added, so make sure you keep an eye on MyACLO.

Enrollment for period 2B is open until the 9th of January 12.00, you can confirm your spot in a course until the 10th of January and on the 11th post-enrollment opens. Course period 2B runs from 11th of January until 7th of February.

PLEASE NOTE! Due to the limited number of places for participants, it is only allowed to confirm your place for one course. Therefore, after the lottery you can only confirm your spot for one course if you are enrolled in more than one course. This only goes for the courses with a limited amount of participants. For the courses with unlimited space and for the post-enrollment there are no limitations. 

Offered courses:

Healthy Food

During the Healthy Food course you will learn exactly what the right nutrition is for you. During a few weeks you will receive insight in your own diet and will work on optimizing this. The course will be given by dietician Neeke Smit – www.smitjefit.com.

This course will consist of 4 online meetings with the teacher.

Crossfit

The course Crossfit will be given by Crossfit Noord. CrossFit is a training method that combines different styles in one training: Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics and athletics. During the course you will try out several common movements from Crossfit.

This course will consist of 4 online meetings with the teacher.

Squash basics and theory

During this course the basic rules of squash and the theory behind the game will be explained. Some techniques will be discussed combined with exercises to do at home, but there will also be theoretical explanations about tactics, terminology and materials. It will be a versatile course and suitable for starting and experienced squash players.

This course will consist of a few videos with explanations that will be sent weekly. For this course there is no limit to the number of participants.

Running fundamentals

During the course Running fundamentals your own running achievements are the center of attention. You will receive running assignments and during a weekly meeting your experiences and problems will be discussed.

This course will consist of 4 online meetings with the teacher.

Salsa

In this course you get acquainted with the principles of salsa and you learn some basic figures. You don’t need special footwear or clothes, some enthusiasm and fun in dancing is enough.

This course will consist of a few videos with explanations that will be sent weekly. For this course there is no limit to the number of participants.

Yoga

The yoga course will teach you all the essentials you will need to begin your yoga practice. You will be introduced to the foundation of yoga and this course will give you confidence to attend regular classes. You will look at the basics of yoga and what yoga actually is, as well as different styles of yoga. You will learn some key postures including standing poses, forward & back bends, twists, sun salutations and inversions.

This course will consist of 4 online meetings with the teacher.
