Sport of the week: Floorball!

Looking for a fast and engaging teamsport? Then floorball is the perfect sport for you! Floorball, otherwise known as unihockey, lies somewhere between indoor hockey and icehockey. The main difference is that it does not allow for as much stick or body contact. The sport is skill-orientated, promotes high scoring and is designed to limit injuries. The game is very versatile and fast, making it the perfect sport to put your energy in. Floorball is safe, low-cost and easy to learn, and therefore the perfect sport for anyone.

If you want to try floorball and see if it fits you, we have got just the thing for you. Every Friday from 16:00-17:00 an ACLO-floorball course is given by some members of the student floorball association; U.C. Face Off. The course consists of five trainings, spanning a period of five weeks and also starting every five weeks. U.C. Face Off also offers the possibility to join three trainings without having to sign up as a member. Simply bring your suitable sportswear (shorts, a shirt and indoor shoes) and we will provide you with a stick to play. Have a look here on our website for training details and contact information.
