In collaboration with the ACLO and the Sports Center, LABOOCA is organizing a LABOOCA instructor training in Groningen on March 23 and 24 2019. The course is suitable for experienced instructors who want to add LABOOCA to their curriculum, as well as for fanatic athletes who want to develop into instructors.
During this 2-day course, filled with music, practical sessions and theory blocks, LABOOCA master trainer and ACLO instructor Marlon Connor will share his knowledge. Regardless of your current knowledge and experience, you will gain new skills during the course that you will benefit as an instructor.
What are you learning?
The basic LABOOCA instructor training focusses on two important methods: LATC and KISS. The LATC method stands for Legs, Arms, Torso and Combination. It’s a method in which you rotate in training these different parts of your body, to ensure a full body workout. The KISS method means Keep It Safe and Simple. These two methods combined make LABOOCA® the most effective workout out there!
During the course you work on:
- Obtaining (more) basic knowledge of training principles and application in practice
- improve your teaching skills such as cueing
- gaining inspiration, choreographies and music
After the training
After a successful completion of the 2-day training you will receive a certificate with which you can independently offer LABOOCA classes. The certificate is valid for one year from the date of receipt. To renew the certificate you must follow a refresher course.
You can also choose to sign up for a LABOOCA membership. This membership costs € 30 per quarter, you will receive quarterly music and choreographies (video) with ready-made lessons. If you take out a membership, your LABOOCA certificate is valid as long as the membership runs. If you cancel your membership, the certificate will continue for one full year.
You can register for the 2-day LABOOCA instructor training on March 23 and 24 019 via e-mail at email@example.com. The course costs € 200 (early bird, this means that your payment must be credited no later than March 20).
The course takes place at ACLO Station, Stationsplein 7 in Groningen and lasts two full days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
