Sport of the week: rowing!

Would you like to exercise in the fresh air together with a close team? Then rowing is a perfect fit for you! Rowing is a sport that is very common for dutch students. You can row on every level, whatever fits your ambitions. For instance you can row as much as you want with your team at a semi-competitive level. There is also varsity-rowing. This means that you row 6 times a week with high quality coaching. Rowing is a sport that is easy to learn, and there are a lot of possibilities. Within a few years you can even reach the Olympics. Gyas has had Olympic rowers in every Olympic game since 1996!

Other than growing in the field of the sport itself, you can also develop your personal skills. Gyas has more than 1200 students, which makes Gyas the largest student rowing Association in The Netherlands.
