Northside Barbell is the strength sports association of Groningen. At Northside the sports Powerlifting and Weightlifting are trained at the ACLO Power Station. Strength training is the perfect sport to accommodate any other sport. But also it fits well for people that want to do their own training, but want to be among other people to train together. With strength sports at Northside Barbell you can train together but for yourself.

Did you know?

  • We offer coaching at Northside Barbell for Powerlifting and Weightlifting for beginning sporters or competitive athletes.
  • The strength sports are individual sports, but are actually very social.
  • Northside Barbell is not only a gym, but also an association with fun social events, active group chats and loads of collaborations.
  • During all hours at the Power Station there is a supervisor present of our association to guarantee the safety of all sporters and offer help where needed.
