Dear athletes,
New measures have been communicated nationwide regarding the regulations in the Sports Center and at the Willem Alexander Sports Complex. For the Sports Center the same rules apply as before; wearing a face mask is not mandatory and outside of sports the 1.5 meter rule must be guaranteed.
For the Willem Alexander Sports center (WAS) other rules apply. The accommodation is seen as a teaching location until 19:00 and therefore a face mask must be worn upon entry. During sports activities the face mask may be removed. From 19:00, the WAS is seen as a sports accommodation and the face mask may then be removed, but a distance of 1.5 meters must be maintained when not playing sports.
From the RUG, however, there are still measures imposed that come on top of the national measures. All events that have no direct connection to sports or education are not allowed in the Sports center. In addition, a maximum of 75 people are allowed on the terrace and in the clubhouse together, with fixed seating at 1.5 meters. The measures are valid for the time being until the 19th of September.
