Update sports possibilities

Dear students,

During the press conference of 23/02/2021, the government announced new measures concerning the coronavirus. We are very glad that the new measures allow more sports activities!

The following measures will continue to apply:

  • Keeping 1.5 meters distance apart is mandatory when doing individual sports;
  • Sports canteens, changing rooms and showers remain closed;
  • Official matches and competitions are not allowed;
  • There is no audience allowed during the sports activity;
  • Stay at home if you have COVID-19 symptoms;
  • Arrive shortly before the start of the sports activity and leave immediately afterwards.

In addition, the following measures will apply from the 3rd of March onwards:

Training sessions in teams

The following applies for youth up to and including 26 years of age:

  • Youth up to and including 26 years of age are allowed to exercise outside in teams;
  • During the training, athletes do not have to keep 1.5 meter distance from each other, before and after the training this is mandatory.

The following applies for athletes from 27 years or older:

  • Athletes from 27 years or older are allowed to exercise outside in teams with a maximum of 4 persons per team;
  • Before, after and during the sports activity, athletes need to keep 1.5 meter distance from each other.

We have contacted the boards of the student sports associations, together we will look at the possibilities regarding the association hours within the new measures. Please contact the board of your student sports association for more information.

Free reservations

From the 3rd of March, the following outdoor sports facilities will be open for free reservations:

  • The padel court;
  • The outdoor tennis courts;
  • The beach volleyball courts.

The following applies for youth up to and including 26 years of age:

  • During the sports activity, athletes don’t need to keep 1.5 meter distance from each other, before and after the training this is mandatory;
  • Free reservation is allowed with a maximum of 4 athletes per court.

The following applies for athletes from 27 years or older:

  • Before, after and during the sports activity, athletes need to keep 1.5 meter distance from each other;
  • Free reservation is allowed with a maximum of 4 athletes per court.

Group lessons

From Monday the 29th of March 2021, it will be possible again for non-association members to exercise outdoors at the Sports Center. Athletes can register for a class, such as circuit or bodyfit, and can then follow it for a number of weeks at a fixed time during the week. On this page you can find more information about the lessons. Please note: the outdoor lessons are only accessible for youth up to and including 26 years of age.

The online group lessons will also continue. You can sign up for different group lessons with your favorite instructor. You can register via MyACLO or the MyACLO Sport App. Click here for the complete offer.

Course period 3B

We offer both in person and digital courses during course period 3B, click here for the full offer and schedule. The in person courses are only accessible for youth up to and including 26 years of age.
