Athletes with an ACLO subscription can exercise in several places. On this page you will find more information about the facilities.

ACLO Sports Center

The ACLO Sports Center is located on Zernike Campus and has the largest sports offering. On and around the sports center there are hockey fields, football fields, tennis courts, padel courts, squash courts, a climbing wall, a dojo and a beach volleyball court. In addition, there are many rooms that can be used for multiple sports and where group lessons and courses are given. The fitness is also located in this building.

There are changing rooms with showers and you can rent or borrow a lot of equipment that is used during free reservations. The information desk is immediately left after entering; Here you can check in for many reservations, rent/borrow equipment and ask questions about your subscription or the sports offer.

ACLO City

This location can be found at the Flower Street 36You can enter through the back entrance. There's a reception desk at the entrance (you can't rent equipment here). This location has a room for group lessons and changing rooms without showers.

Power Station (formerly at ACLO Station) is now also located at this location.

ACLO Power Station

In the same building as ALCO City, you'll find the ACLO Power Station. You can only enter this gym if you have a Power membership. here how to get this note.

Willem-Alexander Sports Center (WAS)

Just like the ACLO Sports Center, the WAS can be found on Zernike Campus. There are a number of sports halls here that can be used by associations, but many group lessons and courses also take place here. The WAS has its own fitness room where courses sometimes take place. There are changing rooms and showers in the building.

The pool is also in the WAS. There are also changing rooms and showers here.

Kroon Physiotherapy is located at the ACLO Sports Center. You can contact us here with questions about your injury or for an intake consultation.

Collaboration ACLO and Sports Center

The ACLO and the Sports Center are two separate organizations, but work closely together. The ACLO is responsible for the sports offering and the Sports Center ensures that the facilities described above are in order.

The organizations also work together on major projects, such as the new construction of the Sports Center. Finally, the ACLO is governed by a student board, while the Sports Center staff are graduates and working.
