One of the things that cycling is known for is its beautiful jargon, as you read above. We understand that you want to know exactly what the above expressions mean. However, we think it is best to tell you this during the Welcome Course of the only student cycling association in Groningen: GSWV Tandje Hoger!

This Welcome Course is the ideal way to get better acquainted with cycling and Tandje Hoger. Whether you have just got a racing bike, or are an experienced (competitive) cyclist who would like to learn certain tricks of the trade: the Welcome Course is indispensable for you! The course consists of 4 training sessions, a tour and a number of social activities. The cycling-related activities take place in different level groups.
