It was almost impossible to miss due to the attention in the press, but the ACLO has opened a temporary padel court in honor of its 70th anniversary.
Now this sport obviously deserves some extra attention in the form of sport of the week!
Padel is a combination of tennis and squash and this translates into a tennis court with glass side and back walls. It is one of the fastest growing racket sports in the world and can be learned quickly. Padel is played with 4 men. At the ACLO you can rent the court for only €5 per hour. On top of this there is racket rental (€1 per racket) and ball rental (€1 per ball). In total, you can try out this sport for just €2,50 per person for an hour. Does it seem like something to you?
