Don’t know what American Football is? Why it’s the biggest thing across the pond! Checkout this introductory video first:
During our 5 week course we will try to teach you the basics of American football (AF). You will learn how to throw the ball like a Quarterback and you will learn how to hit people like a Linebacker. Aside from throwing and hitting people you will also learn how to catch the ball like a Receiver and run with it as a Runningback and much much more. It does not matter
whether you are big, small, tall or short there is a place for everyone in our team. During this course we try to make this rather complex sport as easy as possible to understand and get you playing as fast a possible. Previous knowledge of AF is not needed and no previous experience in contact sports is need. We will teach you everything. For this course you only need outdoor sporting goods, additionally if you have soccer cleats and/or a mouthguard bring those as well, but they are not required to participate. . During the course the club will provide you with shoulder pads and a helmet. Practices are on Wednesday from 20:00 – 22:00. We gather around 19:30 at locker room B at the back of the sports park (see map ‘Kleedgebouw B’). From here we will make sure you get all the equipment you need and are ready to go at 8 o’clock. After practice this is also the location where you can take a shower and change out of your (sweaty) clothes. After this course you can join one of our teams. We have a senior full contact team but also a non-contact flag team. Our regular practice times are on Monday and Wednesday from 20:00 until 22:00. We always train
come rain come shine.

Also women and youth players are welcome, we have a solid group of women practicing every Wednesday, so you’ll not be the only one! Besides playing hard we also like to party from time to time. Most of our members are students and many have found us through the ACLO. We also have many International students and during practice we speak English to accommodate non-Dutch speakers.
