Course
During the course several techniques of beach volleyball will be introduced. There is a beginners-course (requirements: control over service, passing, defense and attack (level 2nd and 3rd class NeVoBo, the Dutch Volleyball Association)), and an advanced-course (1st class NeVoBo and higher). It is important to meet these requirements, otherwise you can’t participate in the course.
Free reservation
You can reserve a beach volleyball field at the information desk or online. You can borrow a beach volleyball at the information desk of the Sports Centre. After you use the court, make sure to rake the sand. You can find the rake on the field.
G.S.B.V. Tweeslag
The beachvolleybalclub of Groningen Tweeslag was founded in 2004 and is the first beachvolleybalclub for students in The Netherlands. This Olympic sport is gaining in popularity, just look at the multiple beachvolleybal tournaments that are organised in the North of the Netherlands. We hope to see you at the sand soon!
