Course
Tennis – beginners (5 weeks)
This course is meant for students that have never played tennis before or that cannot play a rally on the entire court yet. During the course the focus will be on practising the forehand, backhand and service. At the end of the course the teacher will tell you if you are ready to follow the advanced course.
Tennis – advanced (10 weeks)
This course is meant for students that are able to play a rally on the entire court, but do not have the level to play a real tennis match. The focus in the course will be on improving the technique, tactics, and the rules of the game. Students that already have the level of skills to play a match for themselves are advised to become a member of one of the tennis associations or to use the online reservation option to reserve a tennis court.

Free reservation
You can rent a tennis racket for € 1,00 at the information desk of the Sports Centre. New balls are sold at € 6,50 per can (3 balls).
The summer season runs until October 1st 2014 and starts again at April 1st 2015. Between these dates, in the winter season a blow up tent will be placed over eight outdoor courts. Different times apply for these two periods of free and unrestricted tennis playing. During the summer you can only book a court for the same day.
During the summer season the tennis info number (050-3638063) will give you information about the playability of the gravel courts.
TAM
The TAM (Tennisclub Albertus Magnus) is one of the student tennis clubs of Groningen! We offer tennis trainings for every level, as well as a lot of parties and the possibility to join committees.
