Yoga is accessible for everyone, whether you are young, old, stiff or bendy: all positions and breathing exercises are applicable at every level of training.
The Yoga Beginners Course will teach you all the essentials you will need to begin your yoga practice. You will be introduced to the foundation of yoga and this course will give you confidence to attend regular classes.
We will look at the basics of yoga and what Yoga actually is, as well as different styles of yoga.You will learn some key postures including standing poses, forward & back bends, twists, sun salutations and inversions.
We will also look at the importance of alignment in all postures, how to work towards ease and stability and the importance of the breath.
The follow-up course yoga is for students that have done the beginners course (here of elsewhere) and have been joining the open hours for Some time. We will focus on techniques that are more advanced in sunsalutations A+B, jump back and jump-troughs, backbends and inversions. Please note that this is not a beginners course.
