What is Boxing?

Boxing is a fighting and self-defense sport in which two opponents face each other and try to score points by hitting the opponent on the upper body.

Topic

You do not need any boxing experience for the course. If you are not used to a lot of exercise, the course may be experienced as intensive; boxing can be a physically demanding sport. In the first part of a training, the various boxing techniques are discussed, such as punching, parrying, dodging, taking, sparring, covering and footwork. The second part of a training consists of building up a specific boxing condition. 

The course lasts 5 weeks, of which you will receive 1 hours of lessons each week. Participation is free. You can register via the ACLO app. Look here for an overview of the course periods.

GSBV Pugilice
GSBV Pugilice is the oldest student boxing association in the Netherlands and has been offering boxing knowledge since 1980! With four training sessions per week, more than 100 members and experienced coaches, you have the opportunity to sharpen your fighting skills by learning advanced boxing techniques and maintaining your physical level.
