What is Running training?

Running training is aimed at improving your endurance and speed while running through varied exercises and training.

RunningFUNdamentals I

Would you like to start running or pick it up again after an injury? The RunningFUNdamentals I course focuses on learning how to build up distance running responsibly. Attention is paid to the technical aspects of running and a lot of attention is paid to injury prevention. The goal is to be able to run continuously for 30 minutes by the end of the course.

The first lesson is at Zernike and you are expected at the back entrance of the ACLO sports center. The lessons that follow will start at different locations. Your teacher will inform you about the next location during the course. 

The course lasts 5 weeks, of which you will receive 1,5 hours of lessons each week. Participation is free. You can register via the ACLO app. Look here for an overview of the course periods. 

RunningFUNdamentals II

This course is intended for people who run regularly, meaning twice a week. In this course you will be offered tools to expand your training program with tempo training in a fun and responsible way. People who have completed RunningFUNdamentals I can progress to this course.

During this course, attention will also be paid to injury prevention and the technical aspects of running. The first lesson is at Zernike and you are expected at the back entrance of the ACLO sports center. The lessons that follow will start at different locations. Your teacher will inform you about the next location during the course.

Locations

The first lesson takes place on the Sports Center. Please note that the location changes from lesson to lesson in the course! The teacher will tell you where the next training sessions are.
