What is Pilates?

Pilates is a training method aimed at strengthening core muscles and improving flexibility and posture.

Group lesson

You do not need any previous experience with pilates for this group class. Pilates classes consist of exercises for stability and posture, in which breathing and concentration play a major role. A lot of attention is paid to stretching. The exercises are always performed slowly and smoothly and linked to breathing. Control is a key word here. Pilates is about coordination and stabilization of the pelvic area, spine and shoulder girdle. 

This group lesson is given at the Sports Center and at ACLO Station. Check the schedules for the exact times and register by logging in to the website or via the ACLO app.

This sport can be done both on the ACLO Sports Center, ACLO Station if it Willem-Alexander Sports Center to be offered. Check the app to see where your lesson is located.
