ACLO Foundation Privacy Statement
Stichting Academische Centrale Lichamelijke Opvoeding (ACLO) handles your personal data with care. It is the responsibility of the ACLO to protect your personal data. In this privacy statement you will be informed about the way in which the ACLO processes your data and about your rights in relation to the ACLO.
This privacy statement applies exclusively to the services of the ACLO. The ACLO complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The ACLO is not responsible for the privacy policy of other bodies that can be reached via its website.
Processing personal data
When you use the services of the ACLO, you will be asked to provide personal data. The personal data will be stored in the customer system of the ACLO and will be processed for appropriate purposes. In order to serve you as well as possible, the ACLO collects and processes personal data from you when:
- you purchase an ACLO sports card;
- you approach the ACLO. This can be by telephone, by email, via the contact form, the chat function on all social media channels, participation in surveys and research, use of our website and app.
The purposes for which the ACLO processes personal data can be found in the processing register on our website. These purposes can be summarized as identification, registration, communication and management information. The processing register also states the legal basis for these processing operations.
The ACLO uses the following data for the purposes stated in the processing register:
- Name;
- Sex;
- Date of birth;
- E-mail address;
- Phone number;
- Mailing address;
- Customer number/card number/student number;
- IBAN;
- Reservation details.
Third parties
Within the ACLO organisation, your data will only be processed by third parties if necessary. The ACLO shares your personal data with, among others, the University of Groningen and Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. This is necessary because they provide the ACLO with supporting services, including the reservation system. The ACLO never shares personal data with third parties with whom no processing agreement has been concluded. Processing agreements contain agreements to ensure the security of personal data.
Storage period
The ACLO does not store your personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the aforementioned goals. After the retention periods have expired, the personal data will be anonymized in the ACLO systems.
Security
Appropriate technical and organizational measures have been taken to protect your Personal Data. The following measures have been taken:
- All persons who may access your data on behalf of the ACLO are bound to confidentiality;
- All systems are secured with a username and password;
- Our employees are informed about the importance of protecting personal data;
- Third parties are bound by the GDPR through processing agreements.
Rights
You have the right to request an overview of your processed personal data and the processing thereof. If this data is incorrect, or if you no longer want your data to be processed, your request to adjust this data or to stop the processing of your personal data and anonymize it will be honored.
