Ju Jitsu

Course

In this course you are introduced with the basic principles of jiu jitsu. Jiu jitsu consists of three main parts, namely hitting and kicking, clasping and break techniques, and throwing. The training is varied and covers a large part of combat techniques. At the end of the course you are familiar with a number of basic actions and you have an impression of what this sport is all about. Jiu jitsu is quite similar to self-defense in practice. That is why the lessons focus partly on defending yourself on the street. Most of the time there are as many women as men participating in this course, thus the lessons are suitable for everyone.

G.S.B.V de Mattekloppers

De Mattekloppers offers two budo-sports: judo and jiu jitsu. You can join our association whether you are an absolute beginner or have been doing these sports for years. Apart from the regular training sessions there are also lots of social festivities, including having drinks, parties, and martial arts workshops. We hope to welcome you to the dojo someday!
