Six enthusiastic students had the idea of founding a golf association. On February 14th 2005 the Groninger Student Golf Association (G.S.G.V.) was founded.
Meanwhile, the association already entered its 12th year and there is a partnership initiated with the R.K.S.V. Albertus Magnus that is called Pitch.
At the association you can learn the game of golf, but they also offer lessons for the more experienced golfers. Furthermore they organize monthly tournaments and there is one big annual event: G.S.G.V. Open.
