Are you done playing ‘normal’ sports? Try underwater hockey! Equipped with a mask, snorkel and a stick, you play a hockey match on the bottom of the swimming pool. The goal is to get the puck in the goal of the opponent, who are coming from aside, the front, and most of all, from above! This sport demands besides a good condition, also tactical insight, as communication with teammates turns out to be pretty hard…
During the ACLO course, there will be 5 training sessions in which you will get a good insight into the sport. After some snorkeling techniques we will start with the first stick-puck exercises. These will be extended to match simulations, with defending and attacking techniques. The last training we will end with a complete underwaterhockey match! To be able to follow the course, you will have to have a basic physical condition and swimming techniques.
